What can you do for my child?
How can you help?
Programs will support your child's growth and development. Alongside parents our services provide guidance to assist the child to reach their maximum potential in all areas of development. We can help with resources, referrals and direct intervention.
Do I need a referral?
Referrals are accepted by: Parents (as you know your child best), Public Health, Doctors, other service providers
Who works at the Centre?
Our programs are delivered in a family centred model by a qualified
team of qualified pediatric professionals and
support
staff.
Why would I call the CDC?
- Your baby / child is not doing what other babies his/her age are doing
- You want to connect with other families
- You are feeling overwhelmed caring for your child with special needs
- You would like support in understanding how to ensure your child is reaching their maximum potential
- You have questions about what your baby / child should be doing
- Your gut tells you something is not quite right with how your child
is growing

How is the CDC funded and does it cost for my child to be seen?
The Centre is funded through Ministry of Children and Family (MCFD), Community Living BC (CLBC), Northern Lights Bingo / Province of BC Gaming funds, local businesses and individual donations.
Families receive support and intervention programs at no cost.
